Highlighting Student Work on a College Campus

THE CLIENT AND THEIR GOALS: The Collective Project by Microsoft was a very interesting and compelling event marketing campaign in 2015. The Microsoft Collective Project was an effort between college student entrepreneurs and Microsoft. As an example, using Robert Downey Jr. and his iconic ‘Ironman’ persona, bionic limbs were provided to children in need.

THE PROJECT: This was a short project for us as we were brought in solely to help produce the onsite experience for this event and staff the campus activation. This project was at Penn State in 2015 and brought together students from all over the campus in an interactive and highly engaging multi-media and multi-site event. At the Penn State event, NEHA GUPTA, a Penn State student and children’s rights activist who started Ripple Effect, selling toys to raise money for orphans in India. In 2014, Neha became the first American to be awarded the Children’s International Peace Prize.

NOTABLES:

– This was one of our biggest projects, on one of the shortest timelines. We worked to pull together various graphical components of the activation, coordinated audio visual, hired and trained staff and assembled the entire experience in a matter of just a few weeks.
